Wedding Details

Here's where we answer all your burning questions about the wedding day and beyond.

IMPORTANT INFO

• Wedding /Reception are Friday, August 6th, 2021.
• Located at Hidden Meadow & Barn in Pepin, WI. It takes about 1.5 hours to drive south to Pepin from Minneapolis.
• Ceremony will start at 5pm, dancing will continue until 11:45pm (or whenever we get tired). 
• A school bus will pick up guests in Pepin and Wabasha hotels at 4:15pm to travel to the venue. The school bus will pick up at the venue to return to the hotels at 9:30pm, 10:30pm, and 11:30pm.
• Please RSVP by June 1st, 2021. 

​How should I dress?
The ceremony and reception will both take place entirely outside. August in the midwest can be unpredictable. Please watch the forecast and dress for the weather. Our wedding won't be super formal. Heels are not recommended as there's lots of grass. Think garden party on a hot summer day!

I'm from California... how do I Minnesota?
We know that flying away from the coast to this land locked state will be scary...we're here to help! Book your flight into MSP International Airport in Minneapolis. We recommend renting a car. While we do have some public transportation and Lyft/Uber is readily available (No Uber pool though) you will have much more flexibility and likely save money renting an economy car. 

If you are flying in from California, contact Michael and he will find you a car buddy to share the travel expense. 

How do I get from Minneapolis to Pepin, WI?
By car! It's a 1.5 hour beautiful drive along the river to get to Pepin. There are some cute towns along the way if you feel like a stopover. Don't miss the Big Woods cabin of Laura Ingalls Wilder!

How do I store my child while I'm dancing the night away? 
We love all your children, but we request they have fun with their favorite babysitter the night/weekend of the wedding. If you have a nursing infant or special situation, we will be hiring a professional licensed sitter for a small number of children in the farmhouse on the venue property. Contact us asap with requests.
